All colleges participating in the Expo will be listed on the website on the College Coaches Expo page. In addition, we would like for you to provide us with your e-mail address and website for your school for posting on our website. We will create links to your email and your school’s website. A list of players in the tournament will be available after June 30th on the players page. | T-SHIRT REQUEST FOR KID'S DAY |
The Clay Courts will host multicultural and disadvantaged children from the Mid-Atlantic Section. They will meet the Players and Coaches and watch tennis. We hope to have 100 children visit. Each child will receive a t-shirt. If possible, we request that each school attending the tournament donate some t-shirts for this event. Please send an e-mail to Jeff Szekely and indicate the number of t-shirts you are able to donate. Donations may be dropped off at the Woodmont Country Club tournament desk any time up until Monday at 1:00 pm.. The children of the area will certainly appreciate your generosity. We will not have online registration this year. The tournament will only be accepting the College Coaches Expo Registration Form with a check. No credit cards will be accepted this year. College T-Shirts for Kid's Day -- The Clay Courts will host multicultural and disadvantaged children from the Mid-Atlantic Section. Donations may be dropped off the day of the Expo. Although we are not responsible for enforcing the NCAA rules, the tournament is aware that NCAA rules govern the recruitment process. We are taking the following steps to promote compliance: - The Expo is being held at a site other than the host facility for the USTA National Boys’ 18 & 16 Clay Court Championships.
- Only the Boys that have represented to us that they have not yet signed a letter of intent with another college and have completed their junior year of high school will be allowed to enter the Expo.
- At the tournament registration desk, players are asked to finish their participation in the College Coaches’ Expo before registering for the Clay Courts and commencing participation in the event. Please also note that all tournament materials will emphasize the importance of attending the Expo prior to registering.
At each table we will display a sign with the name of your institution. All players and coaches who participate in the Expo will receive a nametag. Upon checking in at the Expo, you will receive a packet containing draw sheets, player lists (name and home town) and local maps. Updated draw sheets will be available daily at the Woodmont Country Club and will also be available on the website. The tournament information packet is mailed in late July to coaches for $45. The player's name, address, birth date, high school, graduation year, and phone number will be included in the mailing lists (Boys' 16 & 18 Divisions). The final draw sheet (Singles, Doubles, and Feed-In) will be included in the package. This packet is included at a discount as part of the fee if you attend the Expo. | RECEPTION FOR COACHES AND PARENTS |
The tournament will host a reception for all visiting coaches and parents on Wednesday evening at a private residence. More information on this reception will be available at the tournament. Jeffrey W. Szekely
